I am a recording artist, mom, camper, teacher and organizer from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

My albums are available on Bandcamp, itunes, Spotify, Amazon, Pandora, etc.

A lot of my music deals with wanting what I can't have, whether that's a person, the past, or a change inside myself. I draw inspiration from literature and my journals, and find myself longing for a life like those on the page. I'm a devoted bookworm, so I have to keep myself from making nerdy puns in my songs. My favorite conflict is Person Vs. Self.

The Bethany Camper was a perfect fit for our family when we were two. It had everything we needed. We put a tarp on top when it was raining and stayed dry. When it was cold, we zipped our sleeping bags together and stayed warm. It was designed with quirky storage spots and had a [...]

I'm planning my 2021 EP releases, and I have the cover done for the first. I have 8 songs total to share this year, but I feel like the songs came together into two distinct tones and themes, so I split the group. I can't wait to look at the lake in the morning from the campsite, while we have our coffee and cook breakfast in the open air.

MN Spin is the first "real" check that I have gotten for my music. There is something about getting paid that makes me-- reluctantly!-- see my art as having increased value.

Now that I am getting ready to release another album, I am feeling sentimental about my birthday, and my EP, Waiting for my Clock. March seems forever ago, with each week in 2020 being so long.

My husband Ryan and I are the proud parents of a "traveling teepee" camper by Bethany. Bethany was a Minneapolis-based service organization that produced a few thousand campers to earn funding for their missionary work. The camper-fundraiser company is now defunct. The exterior of the camper looks like a little house. To take the cuteness [...]

At the beginning of each week, I start teaching with a fresh mindset-- the problems of before can be gone, never to come again, if I just change my perspective! That's it-- perspective! It will take away the suffering I see! Perspective will put emotional boundaries up so I don't take my work home, even [...]

With fall season starting, I want to start bringing in natural textures in the dining room. The burlap topper
